ADAMDAR/CA continues to develop and support various forms of documentary.

On September 4 two short documentaries from the American Film Showcase program will be screened in Almaty within ADAMDAR/offline.

Kyle Bell’s Dig It If You Can is an insightful portrait of Steven Paul Judd, the dynamic and bold 21st century renaissance man. One of the art world’s most energetic, accessible and celebrated figures, this self-taught artist’s love for pop culture and Native American art has given him a massive following.

I Am Yup’ik is a story of Byron Nicholai — a native Alaskan teenager who goes on a quest to bring pride to his village by winning a basketball tournament.

Both films were presented for the first time in Kazakhstan in June 2018 within GoViral festival’s program.

The films will be screened in English, with Russian subtitles.

Address: SIGS space, 40 Gogol street, Almaty, Kazakhstan.
